Last night, the Columbus Crew, who also happens to be the winner of this year's Supporter's Shield (given to the club with the best regular season record) has qualified for their first ever MLS Cup in club history by defeating Chicago Fire 2-1 and winning the Eastern Conference Championship.

Columbus Crew will advance to the MLS Cup next Sunday where they will play either Red Bull New York or Real Salt Lake. New York will be playing Real Salt Lake for Western Conference Championship this Saturday. More news to come regarding that match up.
